A slice of paradise!
What a chill escape! We loved the loch views from our room and the huge comfy bed. Enjoyed evenings by the fire pits with drinks. Food in the bistro was top-notch, honestly way better than expected! Wish there was better Wi-Fi, though. we had a fab time and appreciated all the friendly staff.

The staff were fantastic, helping us find local trails, and we enjoyed strolling around the serene lakeside. Our room had stunning views, and the kids loved the garden space where they spotted lovely wildlife. Truly a wonderful family-friendly location!
In my wife’s opinion, the paths around the hotel could use better lighting for evening strolls.

wow, taychreggan was an amazin stay! we were made to feel super welcome, especially by michelle who helped with our dog's needs. the views overlooking the loch are just beautiful, and the staff were really friendly. the food was top-notch too, we had some delish meals. the outdoor seating area with fire pits was the cherry on top!
the only downside was the wifi, thought it’d be slow but it was actually pretty good. also, the drinks service was a bit slow at times.

The views from the rooms overlooking Loch Awe are stunning, especially at sunrise. Unique touches like blankets by the fire pit add a cozy charm perfect for romantic evenings.
The road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow and winding, which might be daunting for some. While the rooms are decently clean, the furnishings show signs of wear and could use a refresh. the dust and age in some areas detract from the overall atmosphere. The dining experience had its ups and downs. one evening meal was quite enjoyable but another was a letdown with overcooked lamb. the absence of a dedicated receptionist made check-in feel a bit disorganized. Having a TV only in the sitting area, rather than in the bedroom, was inconvenient for a cozy night in.

Breathtaking, breathtaking, breathtaking.
The views of the shimmering Loch Awe took my breath away at every moment, especially during sunrise when the water glistened like diamonds. The outdoor fire pits created an intimate and cozy atmosphere where we could share stories under a sky full of stars. Dining was an experience to remember, featuring locally sourced dishes that were as delicious as they were beautifully presented!

Had an amazing time with friends! The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding hills and glens. We also loved relaxing by the beautiful garden and shoreline. The staff were super friendly, and the food was top notch, especially the breakfast. Just set your expectations for limited WiFi and some winding roads to get there, but it's all worth it. Highly recommend it!
The only downside was the lack of air-conditioning in the room. it could get a bit warm, especially during the sunny days.

Stunning views of Loch Awe.
The bathroom had cracked tiles, and a few lights didn't work. It was disappointing given the beauty of the hotel. it feels like it deserves better upkeep.
